From today, Tuesday 6th February 2024, Clane Athletic Club are formally introducing a "no-idling" policy and are requesting that all vehicle owners turn their engines off whilst they wait in the car park beside the club track.

Engine idling is when your car is running, but you are not moving. When car engines are running, carbon dioxide is emitted making air quality worse.

This small change will help improve air quality, reduce emissions and create a healthier environment around our track where our children and adults are training.

Think green, keep the air clean!
